Everchorus (operated by DSCC Solutions, ABN 29 637 412 046, Perth, Western Australia — "we", "us") creates custom songs from stories our customers share with us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Story and song details. When you complete our song quiz you give us information about yourself and the person your song is for — names, your relationship, memories, dates, and a personal message. This can include personal information about someone other than you (your song's recipient). Please only share details you have the right to share.
Contact and order details. Your email address and, if provided, phone number; your order, delivery choice, and payment status. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments — we never see or store your full card number.
Technical information. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect device, browser, and usage information through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and advertising" below).
How we use it
We use your information to: write, produce, review, and deliver your song; email you your lyrics for approval, your preview, and your finished song; provide customer support and make things right if something isn't; send you service and (with your consent, and always with an unsubscribe link) marketing emails; improve our service; and meet our legal obligations.
AI processing
Your song is created using cutting-edge AI music production and reviewed by a real person before delivery. To make that happen, the story details you submit are processed by trusted technology providers on our behalf — including AI language and music-generation services — solely to create your lyrics and song. We do not sell your story, and your details are not used to train other people's songs.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run Everchorus: our store platform (Shopify), workflow and database tools, AI lyric and music generation services, email delivery and marketing platforms, and advertising and analytics partners (below). Some of these providers are located overseas, including in the United States, which means your information may be disclosed outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to work only with providers who protect personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Google advertising and analytics tags, to understand how our site is used, measure our advertising, and show you relevant ads on other platforms. These tools may collect information such as the pages you visit and actions you take on our site, and match it to your account on those platforms.
You can control this: adjust or block cookies in your browser settings; manage the ads you see via Meta's "Ad preferences" and Google's "My Ad Centre"; and opt out of interest-based advertising at youradchoices.com.au. Blocking cookies won't stop the site working.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide your song and keepsake page, handle any follow-ups, and meet legal record-keeping requirements. You can ask us to delete your story details and personal information at any time by emailing us — we'll action it unless we're legally required to keep something (such as tax records of your order).
Access, correction, and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@everchorus.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it promptly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
