Reveal Video Release

You film the moment. We pay you the full price of your song for the licence to use the footage. This page is the agreement that makes it official.

The deal, in plain words

  • You film the reveal - the moment your person hears their song - on your phone, and send it to us.
  • If we accept your video (we confirm BEFORE you need to send anything), we pay you a licence fee equal to the full price you paid for your song, within 7 days of receiving usable footage.
  • The fee is for the footage licence - it's yours whatever the reaction turns out to be. We just need the real moment, filmed steadily, with both of you visible.
  • We may use the footage in Everchorus advertising and social media. We'll never present it as anything other than what it is: a real song, a real reveal.

The agreement

Video Licence & Release - Everchorus (DSCC Solutions, ABN 29 637 412 046)

1. What's licensed

The video footage you provide of the song reveal, including the images, voices and likenesses of the people shown in it ("the Footage").

2. The licence

Both signatories grant Everchorus a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, edit, caption, and adapt the Footage in Everchorus marketing - including paid advertising, website, email and social media, on any platform. Everchorus may choose whether and where to use the Footage.

3. The fee

If Everchorus confirms acceptance of your submission in writing (email counts), Everchorus will pay the buyer a one-off licence fee equal to the price paid for the song, within 7 days of receiving usable Footage. The fee is for the licence, not for any particular reaction or statement, and is payable regardless of the content of the genuine reaction captured.

4. Your promises

You confirm the Footage is genuine and unstaged, that both signatories are 18 or older, that you own the recording, and that everyone visible or audible in the Footage has agreed to this release.

5. Moral rights and privacy

Each signatory consents, for the purposes of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), to acts or omissions that might otherwise infringe their moral rights in connection with the permitted uses, and consents to the collection and use of the personal information on this page to administer this agreement (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Withdrawal

You may ask us to stop using the Footage in NEW advertising at any time by emailing hello@everchorus.com.au; we'll action it within 14 days. Content already published organically may remain.

7. General

This agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia. It's the whole agreement about the Footage.

Buyer: I have read and agree to the licence above, and I'm 18 or older.
Person on camera: I have read and agree to the licence above, including use of my image and voice, and I'm 18 or older. (Hand the phone to them for this part - it must be them.)
